Not so sure about the anime series. Too much "tokyo pop" for my liking. But this year should be interesting to see where they take it all. Not that I mind tall, red-headed lesbians, I don't think that will work. Some of this reminds me of the Batman/Superman/WonderWoman series covering them through the ages in decade jumps of story. And one part basically had each growing up Robin beccoming the next Batman. Thus was how Batman never seemed to grow old (until Ra-whatsizname made him immortal).
